The evil Witch Doctor has kidnapped Tina, the true love of Master Higgins. To save her, you must safely guide Master Higgins through eight perilous stages - including dense forests and creepy caves - while defeating all of the enemies in your path. Each area is made up of four rounds filled with enemies determined to stop you in your tracks.

As if this wasn't tough enough, as time passes Master Higgins' vitality is automatically drained. To keep going, he must eat constantly by grabbing fruit, milk and whatever other goodies he can as he races towards his goal.

Sometimes eggs containing miraculous items will appear, such as axes to throw at your enemies or honey that grants temporary invincibility. Use these items skilfully to help you clear the areas. At the end of each area you'll face the Witch Doctor, whom you must defeat to advance. Go, Master Higgins, go!

Continue game play:
Locate the hidden egg at the end of level 1. These include the plane's offensive and defensive powers, the energy level, its special weapons and their durations. This somewhat alters the game balance and a different tactic is required to survive the game. For example, initially very few weapons are made available; more can be attained from power-ups by putting statistic points into "special weapons ability". Likewise, there are statistics for offensive ability, defensive ability, total energy, and special weapon time limit. The statistics modify the rates of change for the energy reserve, damage inflicted, and special weapon time limit.

Moreover, the names of the targets have changed as follows (from start to finish):

Rikaku (Japanese Heavy Cruiser)

Kaku (Japanese Aircraft Carrier)

Ayako 1 (Japanese Mother Bombership)

Kakushi (Japanese Battleship)

Kyoshu (Japanese Aircraft Carrier)

Ganryo (Japanese Bomber Armada)

Choko (Japanese Battleship)

Roshuku (Japanese Aircraft Carrier)

Ayako 2 (Japanese Mother Bombership)

Kayu (Japanese Battleship)

Bunshu (Japanese Bomber Armada)

Chojin (Japanese Battleship)

Riju (Japanese Aircraft Carrier)

Ayako 3 (Japanese Mother Bombership)

Ryofu (Japanese Battleship)

Totaku (Japanese Battleship, this is actually a fake Totaku)

Kaku (Japanese Aircraft Carrier)

Ayako 1 (Japanese Mother Bombership)

Choko (Japanese Battleship)

Ayako 2 (Japanese Mother Bombership)

Chojin (Japanese Battleship)

Ryofu (Japanese Battleship)

Ayakoes 1, 2, and 3 (Japanese Mother Bombership Armada)

"The Real Totaku" and a heavily-armed Japanese naval armada (All Battleships)

As opposed to the arcade version which had 16 stages, the NES version has 24 stages.

Enter the passwords below to start at the corresponding level:
73Q17-Level 2
E3QG3-Level 3
L3QG3-Level 4
S3QG3-Level 5
Z3QG3-Level 6
I3QG3-Level 7
P3QG3-Level 8
W3QG3-Level 9
33QG3-Level 10
A3QG3-Level 11
H3QG3-Level 12
U3QG3-Level 13
53QG3-Level 14
K3QG3-Level 15
F3QG3-Level 16
13QG3-Level 17
63QG3-Level 18
83QG3-Level 19
D3QG3-Level 20
M3QG3-Level 21
R3QG3-Level 22
TY2NU-Level 23
TY690-Starts last level with almost full power.
TY19U-Starts on the last level with maximum offense, defense, weapons, energy, and time.

Mike Tyson's Punch Out tips and tricks

Derived from the arcade game 'Punch Out' - Nintendo created the 'Mike Tyson Punch Out' video game. This game has got to be one of NES most popular games. Here are a few tips and tricks that can probably help you out as you are on your way to beating Mike Tyson in the dream match.

Glass Joe
Glass Joe from Paris, France is your first opponent and is the scrub of 'Mike Tyson's Punch Out'. He is 1-99 and at age 38 is ready to retire, wonder who his one win came from, and to top it off it was a KO. Never the less, Glass Joe is a favorite of this video game because he is a classic, appearing in the arcade video game version also. Hit him in the face, when he blocks that you body blow him. When he blocks the body blow you hit him in the face. Real simple to beat. During the fight he may back up, gesture with his hands sort of a "c'mon, c'mon". Right when he comes back forward to you just give him a shot to the face for an immediate knockout. After knocking him down once, he may block a little better but you can still get lots of shots in. You can even let him throw a punch, dodge and counter with 6 straight blow to his face.

Von Kaiser

Next we have Von Kaiser, the X-Boxing teacher at the military academy from Berlin, Germany. He's actually older than Glass Joe at age 42 and is not barely above the 100 lb mark like Glass Joe. He is really simple to beat too though. He will come out throwing a left punch at you. Simply dodge it and counter with continuous blows to his face. You know he is about to punch when he wiggles his head side to side. He will also try some uppercuts at you. You can dodge it and counter with continuous blow to his face also or give him a body blow as he is in the uppercut motion to get stars.

Piston Honda

Next up is the WVBA Minor Circuit Championship title bout with Piston Honda. He's 28 years old and weighs 174 lbs and hales from Tokyo, Japan. He brings in an impressive 26-1 record with 18 KO's. Piston Honda was not in the original arcade video game 'Punch Out' but he was molded after Piston Hurricane who was. Never the less, Piston Honda became the NES video game version. He may be a little challenging to a beginner as he is a good blocker and will block almost anything you through at him, almost I said, sometimes you may get one in for a star. Best to wait and let him open up when he throws a jab at you, you dodge it and counter with a couple hits to his face. How to you know he's going to jab? Well, Mr. Piston Honda has a habit of twitching his eyebrows right before he does. He also has a right hook and a left hook he throws, just dodge them and counter with some head shots at him. He will try to go crazy with you during the match by stepping back and doing a little dance from left to right, this means he is going to come at you with all he's got. You can block all the quick punches he is throwing at you by pressing down right before each punch but if you don't block one and he hits you once he's probally going to hit you more until you get back on track with your blocks. YOu can also block, hit him four times in the face, block, four hits to the face, block............Best thing to do is after the dance when he's coming in, don't even let him get a chance to throw a punch, just body blow him once and he will go down. You have to time it perfectly. Piston Honda is real easy to beat is way more challenging than the first two opponents.

Mac will then take a jog through New York City in the afternoon with Doc leading the way on his bike and stop at the Statue Of Liberty.

Don Flamenco

Your next title run begins with Don Flamenco from Madrid, Spain. He's 22-3 with 9 KO's. His record is way better than what he is though, real simple to beat. He comes out with a flower in his mouth at the beginning of the match, kind of soft, maybe to bribe referee Mario some have said. When the match starts he will not come out with any offense he will just stay there waiting for you to punch so he can throw his big uppercut. Go ahead and punch, he will block and throw his uppercut, dodge it and start hitting him in the face. Hit him left punch, right punch, left, right, left, right, left, right...............until he goes down. When he gets up watch out because he will immediately throw that big uppercut. Just dodge it and do the left, right thing again to the face.

King Hippo

This guy can be a nightmare for you if you don't know the trick to beat him. I remember as a kid I was stuck on him for a while. He comes from Hippo Island and his age and weight are unknown. Hippo is a great blocker and will block anything you throw at him. He pretty much has a jab he will throw at you, you just gotta just dodge it. His other punch is a high, sort of over the head punch he throws. As he is in the beginning motion of throwing this punch you gotta hit him in the face, this will stun him and then you body blow him as much as you can. This is the only way to hit him. Just do it over and over and once he goes down once he is so fat that he can not get up again.

Great Tiger

This is another guy it is possible to get stuck on. At the beginning of the match he will throw a punch. Just dodge it and hit him in the face. How do you know he is about to punch? The little circle in the middle of his turbine lights up. Or you can do like I prefer to do, just punch (he blocks it), dodge, punch (connect), punch (he blocks it), dodge, punch (connect), punch (he blocks it), dodge and so on with this pattern. He will later try to use his uppercuts on you. You can just dodge it and hit him in the face four to six times. Or you can body blow him as he is in the beginning motion of his uppercut and get stars. His magic trick is when he backs up and starts spinning around the circle like a mad man. Each time he goes around he will try to wack you. Just block it each time he goes around by pressing down, you have to time it right. After five times going around he will be all dizzy and just be standing there right in front of you, just smack him in the face to knock him out.

Bald Bull

This is the WVBA Major Circuit title match against the famous Bald Bull. This is where I'd say the game starts to get somewhat challenging. Bald Bull came to the Nintendo Entertainment System version along with Glass Joe and Mr. Sandman. Just for your information there were six fighters in the arcade original game. These three came to the NES video game here. The three left out were Piston Hurricane, Kid Quick and Pizza Pasta. Sure wish they had brought them along. Anyways, Bald Bull has a jab he will throw, just dodge it and hit him in the face. He then comes out with his right hook, again dodge it and hit him in this face. Next comes his big uppercut, again just dodge it and hit him in his face. You will have to get used to Bald Bull's pattern and your timing will have to be in tact but you'll get the hang of it after a while. Now, let's talk about his 'Bull Charge'. You know, when he backs up to the back of the ring and takes three hops at you and gives that killer uppercut. You can dodge it all day long but he will just never quite it. You have to hit him in the stomach when he charges and have perfect timing at it. Connect and he will go down. It might take you some time before you can master this timing but once you do Bald Bull will always be pretty easy to beat.

Mac will take another jog training for his next big fights. Again in NYC but this time he takes as evening run with Doc leading him stopping at the Statue of Liberty.

Piston Honda #2

Piston Honda is back and a little tougher this time. Same rules from the first fight basically apply here. It will be a bit more challenging this time around though.

Soda Popinski

Soda Popinski is 33-2 and is a tough challenge if you just try to go heads up with him. His quick uppercuts can take you down real quick. That is, unless you press and hold down block before he throws his uppercut, this will stall him a second, giving you the chance to easily dodge it and counter with many punches to his face. Or while he is stalled you can hit him in the stomach for a star.

Bald Bull #2

Bald Bull is back again but this time even meaner and tougher. He can only be knocked down this time by using the star when his energy is kind of low or by getting him during his bull charge. If you try to just hit him like normal to knock him out, when his energy goes all the way down it will just keep coming back up a little so you'll have to do it by the two methods already mentioned. Again, with Bald Bull, just learn his pattern, Bald Bull's punches will certainly test your timing skills as I personally think he is one of the best on this game at throwing your dodge timing off. You can beat him! Oy yeah, many times when you guys barely come up to face each other, right away hit him in the face to get a star. Try not to get hit so you don't lose the star so you can knock him out with it when his energy gets kind of low.

Don Flamenco #2

Don Flamenco is back and has worked his way up the ranks. Don't think the left-right combination will work this time though as Don has learned from his mistakes in the past and even has a new jab to challenge you with. He will start out throwing his new jab at you, just dodge it and hit him in the face. After three of those he will throw a right swing at you, again, dodge it and counter. He will then go for three jabs again, the right swing, three jabs, right swing and so on. He will continue this until around the 1:30 mark, then he will go back into his old ways of just standing there and waiting for you to throw a punch so he can counter with his big uppercut. Go ahead and play his game, just be sure to dodge his uppercut because his punches are stronger this time and will take lots of your energy. This time the left, right thing won't work for too long so the match may go on for a while. To beat him quicker: At the beginning when he is doing his 3 jabs, right swing thing, you can punch him in his stomach as he is about to jab and get stars.

Mr. Sandman

Now this guy is tough and if it is the first time you are facing him you are guaranteed to get your butt kicked. He was the champion you had to beat on the arcade 'Punch Out'. At the beginning he will come out with ten or eleven jabs, you have to get into his rhythm and dodge, punch him in the face, dodge his next punch, punch him in the face and so on. I can't remember right now if he does it ten or eleven times but it's one of those. When he's through with that you will need to punch him in the face, he will block and throw a swing at you, you dodge it, hit him once in the face and give him three body blows. Punch to his face, he will block and swing at you, you dodge, punch him in the face and three body blows. You just continue to use this pattern on him through out the fight and you should beat him. That is, if you can dodge his trademark move. During the fight he will stand still for a few seconds and you know it is coming. He will throw some massive right and left hooks at you back to back to back. Your job is to time them perfectly and dodge all three, dodge them all and hit him in the face once and pound away on his stomach, you'll get many shots in until he recovers, these body shots take lots of his energy. It will take some practice to dodge his uppercuts so don't get discouraged if you dodge two and get hit once, just recuperate and play on.

Super Macho Man

OK, so this is the guy who stands in your way of facing Mike Tyson. He will be a hard task to get by but eventually with a little practice, or should I say a lot of practice you will eventually do it. Most of the time he starts out the game with a right swing at you. He has these quick uppercuts he throws too so beware of those. You just have to get his rhythm and he will be an easy task. Again, like Mr. Sandman, only if you can get Super Macho Mans trademark move down. His trademark move is his super spin punches and they comer in two different types. You know he is about to do it when he sort of just stands still there for a second and then watch out, here comes his super fast spin punch. You will have to learn to time it and dodge it and then counter. If you get hit with it you will lose lots of energy. His other twist punch will go around up to ten times sometimes, so yes you are going to have to dodge it all those ten consecutive times. It takes real practice with this guy, be patient and you will beat him.

Mike Tyson

The dream match against Mike Tyson. OK, you've finally made it so let's see how long you can last. Mike will be working to take you out real quick at the beginning of the match. For the first 1:30 of the match he will throw uppercuts at you that will knock you out with one hit, that's right, one hit and your out! The first time you get through the 1:30 mark you will be a proud fighter but there is way more to go. After the 1:30 mark he will do swing jabs at you for the rest of the round, you must get used of dodging these. When the second round begins he will throw around eight really quick jabs at you, you can block them, give him a body blow and earn stars. He will then go back to swing jabs and some more big uppercuts. Thankfully these uppercuts will not knock you out with one punch like the beginning of the game. Also, after dodging them you can actually get more than two hits when you counter attack him. With about 1:30 left both of his eyes will start blinking, smack him in the stomach and get ready to start blocking. He will kind of do the Piston Honda thing and go a little crazy, you can block the first, counter with four hits in the face, block the second, counter with four hits to the face and so on. In round three his jabs, uppercuts and swings are not as guessable anymore. Just be prepared to dodge or block and counter and you will beat Mike Tyson. I know, a little easier said than done but once you get it, "no problem" you will say.

Kung-Fu Master tips and tricks

When you start the game, Thomas will be at the right side of the screen. It will then be your job to navigate him through the five floors to Mr. X. On each floor. Don't ever forget that you have a certain amount of time to make it to Mr. X and to beat him. Your time begins at 2000 and will stop as soon as you begin walking up the stairs to the next level.
If Thomas is grabbed by the Grippers (regular sized guys) or Tom Toms (the midgets), just rapidly shake the joystick left and right,or on keyboard move left, right up and down as much and fast as you can. This will throw them off of Thomas, the quicker the better. The longer they hold you the more energy you will lose.

Knife Throwers can be really annoying in this game. In the lower levels, they throw at a medium or high height. Later on, they also will throw low so besides ducking you will also have to get into the habit of jumping over their knives. Remember, it always takes two hits to take out a Knife Thrower. When you get up to the higher levels don't be surprised if you have a knife thrower on your left and another on your right, they will test your karate skills here. The best way to counter this is to move toward the left or right if you could to get one of the Knife Throwers off the screen and deal with the other one. If you can't, just go heads up and use your skills to knock them out! One other scenario you will face is when Thomas (you) are being held and then a knife thrower emerges. Now this is a tough situation ain't it. Best to just get loose as fast as you could because you can not duck or jump from the knives while behind held. You will learn that if you are being held and being hit by knives at the same time your energy will go down really quickly.
You might want to make it to the boss of each round as quickly as possible, remember you are on a time limit and fighting against time while fighting the boss can not be a good thing. You will know the boss is near when everyone else sort of disappears from the screen, they will not go where the boss is, seems like they have to stay a certain footage away from him.

As you are moving along the floor, you will be assaulted by different people and things. Enemies encountered will depend on which floor you are currently on. As you finish each Devil's Temple, the floors will get harder as the enemies become more numerous and quicker. The floors are broken up as follows.

1ST FLOOR : This floor just has Grippers (the regular sized guys) and Knife Throwers. They do become more numerous the more Temples you successfully complete.

2ND FLOOR : This floor has a few different enemies to deal with.
1) You will be assaulted by vases and confetti balls. If you do not destroy the vases before they hit the floor, they will release dragons or snakes. You can attempt to kick or punch the dragons, but it is risky since they blow fire from their mouths. This in addition to other enemies around you. As for the snakes, your only defense is to jump over them.
2) The confetti balls explode after a period of time sending shrapnel in all directions. These can be destroyed before they do any harm.
3) On the final part of the floor, you will deal with Grippers, Tom Toms, and Knife Throwers. (This is where the Tom Toms make their first appearance).

3RD FLOOR : This floor is like the first floor except now you will also have Tom Toms to deal with. One not on Tom Toms, careful as they will surprise you by doing a flip and landing on your head, taking some energy away, you got to jump to counter attack that flip attack. Sometimes as your walking you can jump right over them, of course there can not be a lot of them.

4TH FLOOR : This floor only has a couple of enemies to deal with.
1) At the beginning of the floor, Poisonous Moths will be released from the walls. They will come at Thomas randomly high, medium, or low. That means you will have to do some fancy footwork to either avoid them or take them out.
2) After the Poisonous Moths, the rest of the floor is the usual Grippers, Tom Toms, and Knife Throwers.

5TH FLOOR : Just like the 3rd floor except the Knife Throwers come out more frequently now.

If you are playing for points you might want to know that punches always earn you more points than kicks. Kicks do seem a little more safer though for some reason if you are playing more to see how far in the game you can get. Here is a breakdown of the points.

Punch on Grippers : 200 points
Punch on Tom Toms : 300 points
Punch on Knife Throwers : 800 points (Require 2 hits)

Kick on Grippers : 100 points
Kick on Tom Toms : 200 points
Kick on Knife Throwers : 500 points (Require 2 hits)

Jump Kick on Grippers : 200 points
Jump Kick on Tom Toms : 300 points
Jump Kick on Knife Throwers : 800 points (Require 2 hits)

If you kick or punch into a group, you have a chance of knocking more then one fighter off the floor. The progressions for this are...

Progression for Jump Kick or Punch :
1 person : 200 points
2 persons : 400 points
3 persons : 600 points
4 persons : 800 points

For everyone beyond the 4th person, it stays at 800 points.

Progression for a Kick or Low Sweep :
1 person : 100 points
2 persons : 200 points
3 persons : 300 points
4 persons : 400 points

For everyone beyond the 4th person, it stays at 400 points.

On the 2nd and 4th floors, you will encounter some different enemies.
Dragons : 2000 points
Confetti Balls : 1000 points
Vases (Kicked) : 200 points
Vases (Punched) : 100 points
Poisonous Moths (Kicked) : 500 points
Poisonous Moths (Punched) : 600 points

You also get points for the bosses :
1st Floor (Stick Fighter) : 2000 points
2nd Floor (Boomerang Fighter) : 3000 points
3rd Floor (Giant) : 4000 points
4th Floor (Black Magician) : 5000 points
5th Floor (Mr. X) : 10000 points

At the end of each floor, you will receive bonus points by adding your time remaining + your remaining energy. To complete a floor, you must go up the stairs to the next floor.

Defeating The Bosses : There are five bosses to deal with in this game. For most of the bosses, if you can back them up against the stairs and start pounding on them, you will defeat them very quickly. Of course, some bosses won't work with you in that area so you have to try other methods.

Floor 1) STICK FIGHTER : His claim to fame is that he has a big stick and he doesn't speak at all. This is one of the easier bosses to take down. You can tell when he is ready to strike because he cocks his arm back to swing. Just move or jump back to avoid being hit. You can crowd him against the stairs. Once you have done that, use a series of low sweeps to finish him off.
You can also take him out be doing jump kicks on him but that is a little more tricky since he can get a hit on you if you are not ready. Best thing to do is get really close to him, as much as you could, in his face basically, he will swing his stick but can't hit you because you are so close. Start sweep kicking him, as soon as he backs up he will get sweep kicked many times. Back up, do the same thing over.

Floor 2) BOOMERANG FIGHTER : This guy likes to hit you coming and going. He throws two boomerangs at Thomas. If Thomas avoids them on the trip out, he may get hit on the return trip. Your first priority is avoiding the boomerangs (of course). Most of the time, he throws the boomerangs mid or high so you can easily duck. Sometimes he will throw some low shots so you have to jump. Once he releases his boomerangs, get up to him and let loose with kicks and punches. Prepare for the boomerangs return trip and once he catches them, hit him a couple of more times. You should only have to do this cycle a couple of times before the Boomerang Fighter is no more. Doing a couple jump kicks on this guy and he is out real quick, really simple guy, of course just don't let the boomerangs hit you.

Level 3) GIANT : He stands about twice as tall as Thomas. Plus, he packs a mean wallop both in his punch and kick. Although he is built like a tank, he is not very quick. Thomas can get in about three shots to his one. The problem is, when the Giant hits Thomas, a lot of energy loss occurs.
Don't even try to go toe-to-toe with this guy or you will lose almost every time. The best attacks are the jump kick and low sweep. You just have to watch out for his kick on the low sweep.
This one may take a while since you need to be careful around the giant. I will usually go toward him with a jump kick and just start low sweeping kick him. Sometimes as I go in for that jump kick I will get hit once but it's O.K. If I have like no energy, i will just try to go in with the low sweep kick, get some energy off of him, back up, do the low sweep kick again, back up and so on.

Level 4) BLACK MAGICIAN : Of course, no Devil's Temple would be complete without the resident Black Magician to annoy you. The Black Magician is one of the stranger bosses you have to deal with. His claim to fame is a couple of things. First, he creates duplicates of himself so you don't know which one is the real Black Magician. Second, he sometimes sends creatures after you such as bats to make your life miserable. The Black Magician can be one of the easier bosses to deal with, as some have said. Or he can be the toughest opponent to deal with, as other have said. You need to back him up to the stairs as quickly as possible to limit his movement. If the Black Magician has a lot of room, he can create duplicates which will hurt Thomas. Once you've backed him against the stairs, the only thing that will work on the Black Magician are low punches. When you have him backed against the stairs and are pounding on him, he can't create duplicates or other critters to harass Thomas.

Level 5) MR. X : Well, you've finally made it to Mr. X, the boss of all the bosses. This will be a test of all of your Kung-Fu skills. Mr. X is no pushover. In addition, Mr. X regenerates his energy so you have to be quick about taking him down or he will fully regenerate. You will notice that Mr. X is a kung-fu master himself and has his own series of Kung-Fu moves that could very well do severe damage to Thomas. You will need to use different combos to get through Mr. X's defenses. If he seems to block a particular attack, quickly switch to another. For example, if he blocks a low sweep, change it to a jump kick and you may get a shot in. Also, use your punches after getting his defenses away with kicks. This will be a long battle but if you continue using different attacks, you can take him down. Let me tell you the easiest way to beat this guy, just walk up to him and do one low sweep kick and immediately back up, you may hit him, you may not (as sometimes he will block it). Go for the low sweep kick again and back up. You'll make a hit at least 50% of the time. Just remember to only kick once and back up. If you try to keep kicking and stuff he will show you the skills he has. Once Mr. X is beaten, you walk forward to kiss Silvia. Jump at the last minute and you'll walk a few extra steps and kiss thin air.

One interesting fact about this game is that Kung Fu-Master was the first scrolling beat -them up sideways video game and is a true classic that is seen by many as the gateway for many other karate type games such as Double Dragon, Final Fight, Captain Commando and Streets of Rage.

NES Baseball tips and tricks

In the NES Baseball game you can choose between 6 different teams.

A Team : Oakland Athletics
C Team : St. Louis Cardinals
D Team : Los Angeles Dodgers
P Team : Philadelphia Phillies
R Team : Kansas City Royals
Y Team : New York Yankees

The teams represent the Major League Baseball League Pennant winners in the early 1980's.

NES Baseball game is truly one of the classic video games.

The goal of course in this game is to score more runs just like any other baseball game.

There is not much strategy I can offer on this game. I warn you though that you will get pissed off sometimes when the other team hits the ball in the outfield and your center fielder is running to get the ball but when he gets close to it he all of a sudden stops and leaves it to the left fielder who is like what seems a mile away but ultimately manages to finally get to the ball. Meanwhile the base runner has got himself a triple instead of a single. I play this game once in a while out of old memories as a kid but if I was a 2000's child I would think this game is kind of corny.

One strategy I noticed though is that when you are hitting and nothing seems to be going your way, you may want to move your batter closer into the box and your hitting will be stronger and go through the middle. If it ain't working when your up close go back to the normal position.

When pitching you may want to throw some slow pitches and curve them on the outside corner. I noticed that these guys just smack my fastballs around most of the time.

You may get beat at first but when you play it a few times you should be able to handle playing the computer and winning with no problem. You may even smack a couple home runs.

Arkanoid Tips and Tricks

It's breakout with bells and whistles attached! Set in space, with a fictitious storyline about alien spaceships and a mission to save the universe, Arkanoid basically pits your moving ship at the bottom of the screen bouncing a ball to destroy all the bricks on a screen to advance to the next level.

The game follows the basic principles of Breakout. Your ship can move left and right and you must deflect the ball(s) back up the screen by making contact with it/them. When the ball hits a brick it is destroyed or weakened and at random intervals bonus items roll down the screen which can be collected to increase or decrease your ship's powers or abilities.

There are also alien ships on each screen to hamper your progress.
